How we handle accounts and CVs

Jose Luis Cava is a career workspace that runs in your browser. We keep the surface small on purpose: you should know where a CV goes, what a report contains, and who can see a session.

Accounts and sessions

When you create an account or log in, the session stays in this browser on this device. There is no hidden cloud locker for your login. Anyone who uses the same machine can open the same workspace, so treat a shared laptop the way you would treat an unlocked drawer.

CVs and career documents

A CV, LinkedIn PDF, or transcript is processed only to build a Career Readiness Report — scores, gaps, a recommended track, and an employer blurb. Upload documents you are willing to have sitting in this workspace. Do not upload other people’s files or anything you would not show a coach.

Readiness reports

Reports live with the rest of the workspace on the device that created them. They include a readiness score, confidence, time-to-ready, skill gaps, proof projects, role matches, and a paste-ready blurb. You choose what to copy out to HR or an employer.

Company seats

HR and L&D who sponsor seats see shared readiness for the learners on that cohort — not a back door into every file on a personal machine. Enterprise academies are scoped the same way: the report and the track, not a sweep of private documents.

What we do not do

We do not sell CV files. We do not run a public talent marketplace off your upload. We do not need your document to generate marketing. Questions about a specific file: hello@jeoseluis.top.
